Somehow this series manages to be the silliest and most entertaining of the X-Men line while simultaneously offering some of the deepest characterization. But as with all of Taylor's work, beneath the humor there are deeper, darker issues to explore. Tom Taylor crafts a very lighthearted, humorous issue here, one that makes the most of Marcio Takara's expressive facial work. That process isn't made easier when Maria Hill forces herself into their lives. ![]() Much of the appeal boils down to the terrifically entertaining dynamic between Laura and her pint-sized clone, Gabby, the latter of whom is finding it difficult to adjust to life in the ordinary world.
